The first edition of A. Karpov's "Selected Parties" was published on the eve of the world championship match. Now that the Soviet champion has confirmed his title of the strongest chess player in the world, the Fizkultura i Sport publishing house, fulfilling numerous requests from readers, is releasing the second edition of this book, supplemented by a special chapter on the match in Baguio.
