Volume 1 presents the poetic heritage of Anna Akhmatova (1889 - 1966): poems collected by her in seven books, her poems included in books, extracts from draft manuscripts and sketches.

Volume 2 includes articles about Pushkin, a word about Lermontov, About Dante, memoirs about Blok, Lozinsky, Modigliani; her memoirs-reflections about contemporary writers - Tsvetaeva, Pasternak, Mandelstam. A special section is `Prose about the Poem` and `Autobiographical prose`. Tom completes a series of translations.
