Rüdiger Safransky's book is dedicated to the life and work of Martin Heidegger (1889-1976), a philosopher who had a huge impact on the development of the philosophy of the 20th century, a man who was deprived of the right to teach after the war and abandoned by everyone, a German who tried to determine the fate of Western European metaphysics and find an explanation to what was happening before his eyes with Germany and the world.

The book is in very good condition, the edges of the spine are worn and there is a small ex-libris on the title (last photo).
