The author of the textbook is a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the creator of complete textbooks in the 60-80s. textbooks on philosophy.

This textbook consists of four parts:

introductory word, which characterizes the subject of philosophy, examines the relationship between philosophy and worldview;

historical and philosophical section;

the foundations of general philosophy, which presents the doctrine of existence, the problems of man and his existence in the world, questions of the soul, consciousness and mind, questions of the theory of knowledge;

social philosophy, where a philosophical analysis of society is given, its material foundations are characterized, the forms of its spiritual life are revealed and analyzed, and the trends of its development are considered.

For students, graduate students, teachers of higher educational institutions.
