The epic “Abai’s Path” by the famous Soviet writer, Lenin Prize laureate M. Auezov (1897–1961) is dedicated to the life and work of the great Kazakh poet and educator Abai Kunanbaev.
The first volume included the first and second parts of the novel. Against the backdrop of a vivid picture of the life of the Kazakh people in the second half of the 19th century, it tells about the hero’s childhood and youth, the formation of his views, his birth and development as a poet.
