АРКАДСКАЯ НОЧЬ (L)

The new "Russian" book by Rein Weidemann consists, as it were, of two parts. The first includes three short stories that were first published in Russian in the literary magazine "Vyshgorod" ("Betty", "Writer of Speeches", "We, Tin Soldiers"). The second part is a short novel "The Arcadian Night". It is also made up of three short stories ("Sandwich with a Kiss", "Sources of Endlessness", "Arcade Night"), written by the author on behalf of three storytellers, who are connected, however, by dramatic life realities. And the spiritual background of the space of all "stages" is permeated with a philosophically ideal image of the mythological Arcadia.
