The book of memoirs of Nikita Igorevich Krivoshein is a debt to the memory of the decades the author lived: France - USSR - France. This is a courageous testimony that modern propaganda in Russia erases from memory and censors. The trials and sharp turns of fate of the author, the view of a Russian European on the events of the 20th and 21st centuries, in which the world finds itself after February 24, 2022, are fascinating and useful.
