The book by the famous Russian philosopher, methodologist and culturologist examines the prerequisites and stages of the formation of the European state, society and economy. The author refers all these social formations to the ontology of sociality. The development of sociality preceding the New Age was analyzed by Vadim Rozin in the work “The Formation and Development of European Sociality: Etudes-Research: the Ancient World and the Middle Ages” (2019). In the new book, the turn has come to study the sociality of modernity. The author tries to show that it is the state and society, considered in the context of the economy, communities and personality, social concepts and circumstances such as wars or epidemics, that determine the nature and transformation of the new European sociality. As a methodologist, he also discusses approaches to the study of sociality. The book is addressed to a wide range of readers - scientists, philosophers, sociologists, teachers, students, anyone who is interested in the fate of our culture and civilization.
