JV Stalin's words turned out to be prophetic - after his death Streams of verbal slops, fountains of mud, waterfalls of lies were poured into the leader in his name, his great deeds and blessed memory. Accusing him of all mortal sins, exposing and cursing the unforgettable Stalin era, the "fighters against the cult of personality" promised the people to build "socialism with a human face" - but without the Leader, without his steel will and political genius, the Soviet Union irresistibly declined and collapsed . And the first step towards the "greatest geopolitical catastrophe", which was the collapse of the USSR, was a criminal campaign to denigrate Stalin.
It is difficult to find a person in the history of Russia who did so much for its greatness and prosperity during his lifetime and so unfairly slandered after his death. However, those who spit on their own past deprive themselves of the future. Beginning with Khrushchev's report on the "cult of personality," the myth of Stalin's crimes gradually corroded the foundations of Soviet society. With the coming to power of Gorbachev, the anti-Stalinist hysteria, unprecedented in strength and scope, was used as a battering ram to destroy our Motherland - the USSR.
