Isaac Moiseevich Rabinovich (1859 -1929) - lawyer, attorney at law at the St. Petersburg Court of Justice, initiator of the creation of the Union of Russian Attorneys at Law in Germany. Born into a merchant family. In 1882 he graduated from the law faculty of St. Petersburg University, then entered the service of the Kharkov Court of Justice. A year later, he joined the bar as an assistant, and in 1888 as a barrister. He specialized in the field of railway law and won all-Russian fame in this area. After 1917 he was in exile. Once a refugee, he made his specialty the interpretation of the laws in force on the situation of Russian refugees. In 1921 he published the legal guide "Russians in Germany" - an excellent guide to the countless laws on foreigners. He was an employee of the Rul newspaper and German legal journals.
