The book describes the participation of the Life Guards of the Keksholm Regiment in the Stokhodskaya operation of 1916. The regiment was at the forefront of the attack, took the fortified village of Trysten and many trophies. After the operation, the emperor instructed to restore the regiment and personally appointed Boris Adamovich (1870-1936) as its commander, who received the St. George weapon for distinction in battle. Subsequently, Adamovich participated in the Civil War, in exile he wrote a number of military-historical works. The book contains a list of the Knights of St. George - participants in the operation, combat schemes and a list of sources.
