The novel "Orest and Son" is the story of three generations of one St. Petersburg family: grandfather, father and son.

Anton, son of Orest, and his girlfriends Inna and Ksenia - at first glance, ordinary Soviet high school students. They make a wish while looking at the Spasskaya Tower from the Vremya program, understand ancient mythology, and learn about faith from an American rock opera. Intuitively, they understand that not everything is as they say on TV, and they want to know the truth...
The novel "Orest and Son" can also be viewed as a tragedy, or rather, an extended metaphor for the tragic Soviet era.
