In the widely known novel "Silence" Yuri Bondarev told about the fate of people who went through battles, who were looking for and could not always find their place in post-war society. The novel "Two" is, as it were, a continuation of "Silence". The novel "Two" tells about the further fate of two heroes already familiar from "Silence" - Asya and Konstantin. This is a novel about great love, about the search for personal happiness, and at the same time this is a work about recent times, not yet forgotten and difficult (the action of the novel takes place in the early 50s). Konstantin and Asya go through difficult trials, but the tragedy of the situation that has created in their lives does not devastate their souls, they gain high courage, they do not leave faith in humanity, their future and the future of the country.
