Continuation of the novel "The Sun Keeps Shining". The main character, Sergei Tomilov, who went blind after an accident in a mine, once thought he saw a drop of light. After the operation, he faces a difficult problem: to remain active, risking falling into darkness again, or to stay at home, protecting himself. The author of the book is Vladimir Sergeevich Voroshilov, he was a pilot in the war, lost his sight in an air battle. In 1945 he became the first chairman of the Kemerovo regional branch of the All-Russian Society of the Blind. Voroshilov was the initiator of the creation of primary cells in the cities of the region and enterprises that employed blind and visually impaired people.
