The collection of the famous writer and historian M.O. Gershenzon includes the sketch “Griboedov’s Moscow” - “an experience in historical illustration” for “Woe from Wit”, the monograph “P.Ya. Chaadaev. Life and Thinking" is the first and still significant work about the outstanding Russian thinker, as well as a number of essays about Moscow writers and public figures of the first half of the 19th century: N.I. Turgenev, M.F. Orlov, I.V. and P.V.Kireevskikh.
