His autobiographical story "Waltz of Waldteuffel" about a little pianist who performed at the fronts of the Civil War testifies to the author's outstanding literary talent. "Conversations at the Piano" - a series of TV shows about music that Natan Efimovich hosted for ten years - is published for the first time.
The book also includes memories of students and relatives of N. Perelman, his letters.
