Vladimir Nikolaevich Ilyin (1890 -1974) was an original religious thinker, author of the books "Reverend Seraphim of Sarov" (1925), "All-Night Vigil" (1927), as well as works on morphology and apologetics. He is also known as a teacher at the St. Sergius Theological Institute in Paris, as a literary critic, mathematician, musicologist and composer. Ilyin was a member of the famous religious thinkers of the Russian Diaspora and was in close contact with Berdyaev, Vysheslavtsev, Fr. Sergius Bulgakov, who became the spiritual father of V. Ilyin. This edition has been republished with the diligence of the parishioners of the Church of Seraphim of Sarov in New York. Text on the title page: `The book publishing house `WAY OF LIFE`, founded in 1935 in the city of Pechery, Estonia, is being restored by reprinting this book.
