The "Library of the Solidarist" consists of short reference brochures, each of which deals with a particular issue related to the worldview of solidarism or the present and future of Russia, as Russian solidarists see it. The Solidarist's Library is not a textbook and by no means an expression of views formally approved by the leadership of the NTS. The books published in it are completely independent of each other and are united only by the fact that their compilers are in solidarity with each other in the worldview of freedom, which cannot and should not become freedom from the worldview.

N.A. Berdyaev's philosophy of spirit

This pamphlet is not an outline of Berdyaev's entire worldview. Its task is to acquaint the reader only with what is dearest to us in it, with Berdyaev's philosophy of the spirit, with his statement that the spirit is the subject of freedom and creativity.

The first two, like the last two sections, serve as a frame for this. The first describe the situation in which Berdyaev matured, that part of thinking and searching Russia, on which Lenin's "Materialism and Empirio-Criticism" had no influence. The task of the last two sections is to show the boundaries of Berdyaev's philosophizing, emphasizing the unique subjectivity of his worldview and method.

The philosophy of Berdyaev is a hymn to the free spirit. But its truth is often only subjective Berdyaev's truth, about which, stylizing, one can say that it cannot and does not want to become an objective truth. The spirit is revealed in it as a subject, the problem of the reality of which is put at the center of our presentation.
