The purpose of the almanac is to introduce previously unknown materials on Russian history, especially the history of the 20th century, into scientific and public circulation. The reader is offered numerous eyewitness accounts, diaries, memoirs, notes, epistolary heritage of figures of national culture and public life from Soviet and foreign archives, private collections, family collections.
