This publication includes the works of prominent Russian researchers Lev Karsavin, Nikolai Osokin, Alexander Veselovsky, as well as a fragment of Henry Charles Lee's capital work "The Inquisition".

The emergence and spread of heresies contemporary with the very beginning of Christianity. The emergence of the Christian religion took place under circumstances that could not but put it in the conditions of a struggle.
The struggle against Judaism and paganism left deep marks on the history of the Church in the first and all subsequent centuries. She favored the formation of other interpretations, other teachings in a single Christian dogma.
