The most important feature of Soviet graphic art is its ideological content, its content; the main thing in it was the struggle for socialist realism. During the years under study, Soviet graphics were very diverse. Soviet graphic artists used many different techniques and applied their strengths in various fields. They worked in a book, in a magazine, created multi-circulation prints and single drawings, often experimental, made mistakes and then took the right road. The graphics were always very interesting. But throughout all the years of its development, its leading detachment, its vanguard force, remained the graphics that devoted themselves to the open and principled struggle for the revolution. This was the case in the first years of Soviet power, during the era of the civil war. This was the case during the Great Patriotic War against fascism. We value our Soviet book very much and highly value our engraving. And at the same time, our poster and our political cartoon were truly new, unprecedented and strong from beginning to end.
