Pyotr Andreevich Pavlenko is a Russian Soviet writer, screenwriter and journalist. The most famous cultural figure of the Stalin era, when many of his works were actively promoted and considered classics. Member of the USSR Writers' Union since 1934. Brigadier Commissar. Member of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR since 1950. Order bearer: Order of Lenin (1939), Order of the Red Star (1940), Order of the Red Banner (1943). Winner of four Stalin Prizes, First Class: 1941 for the screenplay of the film “Alexander Nevsky”, 1947 for the screenplay of the film “The Oath”, 1948 for the novel “Happiness”, 1950 for the screenplay of the film “The Fall of Berlin”.
