Курдский мир России. Политико-правовая практика, интеграция, этнокультурное возрождение (1917-2010-е годы)

In the proposed book, based on a large amount of factual material, published archival sources, identified new documents, and memoirs of participants in the process of transformation in the Kurdish community, the author traces the fate of the Kurdish minority in the Soviet Union and Russia. Particular attention is paid to the changes that took place in the Kurdish national minority living in the former Soviet republics and in the Russian Federation. The names of many Soviet Kurds - participants in the Great Patriotic War - are named, and their direct participation in the battles on the fronts of the fight against fascism is shown. Attention is paid to the adoption of repressive measures by government authorities and the impact of these actions on the position of Soviet Kurds. Today's rich material reveals the role and place of the Kurdish national minority in the structure of interethnic relations in the Russian state.
