The collection includes the texts of interviews and conversations of the theater critic, theater critic, literary critic Yu. G. Fridshtein with the actor Yevgeny Lyubimov (b. 1985), with the director of the Moscow Old Theater Karen Nersisyan (b. 1971) and the director, theater and film actor Gennady Saifulin (born 1941), as well as the author's impressions of the performance "Ordinary History" at the Kursk Drama Theater named after. A. S. Pushkin and memories of the actor, director and writer, Pushkinist Vladimir Recepter (born 1935). The book contains the texts of the modern English playwright Willy Russell's comedy "Raising Rita" and the two-act monologue "The Whore from Harlem" by the Swede Anthony Swerling. The collection is illustrated with black-and-white archival photographs: the photographs in the book are dedicated to theater and film actress Olga Yakovleva (b. 1941). The publication is addressed to theater critics, culturologists, as well as to all those interested in the national theater.
