It is generally accepted that 1917 divided the country into "whites" and "reds". But this is not entirely accurate. The "Red Stream", which washed away old Russia, consisted of numerous "rivers", "brooks" and "currents" of various shades - from pale pink to blood red and crimson black. The authors of the book chose ten people from all this multicolor, representing ten different shades of the "red idea". Someone became a "symbol of the revolution" (like V. A. Antonov-Ovseenko and A. G. Zheleznyakov), someone at first did not accept October, but remained loyal to him (A. A. Bogdanov, L. B. Krasin ), someone, on the contrary, actively fought the Bolsheviks with weapons in their hands (B. D. Kamkov, D. I. Popov, B. K. Fortunatov), someone joined the Bolshevik elite, and then was shot by them (L. B. Kamenev), and someone (like the legendary Kamo) had an almost impeccable biography from the point of view of the Soviet authorities. 16+
