The military service of one of the most prominent military leaders of the Soviet Army, Army General Ivan Vladimirovich Tyulenev, began in 1913, when he was drafted and enlisted in the 5th Kargopol Dragoon Regiment. Ivan Vladimirovich Tyulenev traveled a long and difficult path. He participated in the first imperialist, civil and Great Patriotic wars, and witnessed many historical events. During the civil war I.V. Tyulenev fought in the ranks of the First Cavalry Army, during the Great Patriotic War he commanded the fronts: first the Southern, then the Transcaucasian. The reader will find in the book an exciting story about the revolutionary events of 1917, about the defense of the gains of October, about the courage and fortitude of the Soviet people during the Great Patriotic War.
