The author is the greatest poet of the first third of the 20th century (1877-1932). At the beginning of his creative path, he joined the Symbolists. Published in the magazines Libra, Golden Fleece; then actively contributed to the Apollo magazine. The poet traveled a lot, lived for a long time in Paris, where he was seriously influenced by the Impressionists. Since 1917, he constantly lived in the Crimea, in Koktebel. This collection contains poems dedicated to the events of world and Russian history, revolution and civil war, the past of the eastern Crimea (Cimmeria), its nature. The collection is illustrated with drawings by the author.
