Чуковская Лидия.Процесс исключения

The book by Lydia Chukovskaya includes the novels "Sofya Petrovna" and "The Descent Under the Water", as well as an essay on literary mores - "The Process of Exclusion", published for the first time in her homeland.
As an illustration to the "Process of Exclusion" there are open letters: "To Mikhail Sholokhov, the author of The Quiet Flows the Don", "Not an execution, but a thought. But the word" and "The wrath of the people". They served as a direct pretext for the exclusion of Lydia Chukovskaya from the Writers' Union and for a long-term ban not only from publishing her works in the Soviet press, but even mentioning her name.
