The exclusivity of Vasiliev's talent was felt from his very first performances on the stage of the Bolshoi Theater. No wonder the oldest choreographer, the finest connoisseur of choreographic art, F.V. Lopukhov, attributed Vasiliev to those young artists who "already more than others express their own attitude to the art of dance." These lines were written when Vasiliev was a young dancer. The same Lopukhov in his latest book "Choreographic Frankness" writes about Vasiliev even more definitely: "Vasiliev's talent" is an original talent and, most importantly, modern Russian.
