BOTTICELLI, one of the greatest painters of the Renaissance, spent almost his entire life in Florence, and many of his famous paintings, such as those reproduced in the book "Spring" and "The Birth of Venus", were created by him at the request of the Medici family, who ruled this city -state. The book also contains the most famous religious works of the artist - full of deep feeling "Pieta", "Adoration of the Magi" and the magnificent "Annunciation", one of the best examples of his refined technique.
