Edvard Stanislavovich Radzinsky was born on September 29, 1936 in Moscow, in the family of a playwright, a member of the SP S. Radzinsky. Graduated from the Moscow Historical and Archival Institute. In 1960, his first play, My Dream ... India, was staged at the Moscow Theater for Young Spectators. Fame brought Radzinsky the play "104 pages about love" (1964), which went on many stages of the country (in Leningrad, this play was called "Once again about love"). In addition to plays, Radzinsky worked a lot for cinema as a screenwriter. In recent years, Radzinsky has been working on the "Mysteries of History" cycle, which includes such major historical and artistic works as "Nicholas II", "Stalin" and others.
