Milan photographer Valentina, our contemporary, and the Venetian courtesan Belle, who shone at the beginning of the 20th century. Trying to uncover the secret of the beautiful stranger in the pictures, she meets Leonardo, the owner of a private club, which opens up a new world for her, where passion knows no bounds. Having tried forbidden caresses, Valentina suddenly realizes that her life is inexplicably connected with the life of a stranger from the photo - the courtesan Belle.
