This publication is a collection of articles by M.N. Pokrovsky (1868-1932), the leader of Marxist historians in the 1920s. In his work “Diplomacy and Wars of Tsarist Russia in the 19th Century”, published in Moscow in 1923, M.N. Pokrovsky argued that the inclusion of the outskirts in the Russian Empire was “absolute evil”.
