The novel "Quenching Thirst" is a book about people leading a courageous struggle with the desert, about the builders of a canal in the waterless Karakum, about people of great deeds and great passions and people of small souls and small passions, about the complex interweaving of destinies in the stream of time. The action of the novel is based on real events of the late fifties, when the first tens of kilometers of the Great Karakum Canal were laid. The book also includes stories thematically related to the content of the novel "Quenching Your Thirst".
