The most mysterious of the paintings of the great Renaissance artist Giorgione de Castelfranco, the true meaning of which is still disputed by critics and art historians. The painting, to study which the Spanish art critic Alejandro Ballesteros comes to Venice, having fun at the traditional carnival. However, on the very first day of his stay in Venice, he witnesses a mysterious murder - a murder that turned out to be only the first in a whole series of crimes. The police are lost in conjecture - after all, the killer is hiding under a carnival mask. Alejandro, involuntarily forced to start his own investigation, cannot get rid of a strange suspicion: what is happening is somehow connected with the mystery of the ''Storm''.
