The novel "Sensation" ("Evening News") is the secrets of intense competition on television, the intimate life of the "stars" of the screen, methods of manipulating public opinion. In the constant hunt for sensationalism, popular journalists themselves become victims of criminal encroachments. The same thing happened to Crawforth Sloan, a columnist for CBC's evening news.
