More info
This book is dedicated to Soviet intelligence officers in Nazi Germany, whose collective portrait was recreated in the image of the legendary Stirlitz, a fictional hero who left an indelible mark on the soul of every Soviet person. During the Great Patriotic War, Soviet intelligence proved to be the most effective, practically unrivaled. But our scouts were people too. Uncommon people, but not without their weaknesses and vices. They were not elusive and invulnerable, they made mistakes, for which they sometimes had to pay a terrible price. Sometimes they lacked professionalism and skills, but everything comes with experience. And getting this experience and surviving in Nazi Germany, where the strongest counterintelligence agencies of the world operated, was very difficult. On the pages of our book, readers will be able to find out information that has remained "behind the scenes" for decades, and which even now has not been removed from the class of secrecy. Really fascinating reading!
