This material, printed in Germany in August 1940 under the title "Invasion 1940", is one of the most unusual documents discovered by the Allies in Berlin at the end of the war and kept secret until 2000. selected intellectuals of the Gestapo under the leadership of SS General Walter Schellenberg and was intended for the future German administration and the Abwehr in the occupied territory of Great Britain. In addition to detailed information about all aspects of life in England, including very accurate information about the activities of the British intelligence forces. it contained a list and brief information about 2880 British and refugees from Europe who were scheduled for arrest by the Gestapo and. possibly a subsequent execution. The publication in Russian is supplemented by "Introduction to the Russian Edition" by E. Kulkov, a recognized historian, an employee of the Center for World Wars and Geopolitics, and an article about the experience of preparing similar materials by intelligence agencies of various countries by M. Tokarev, a specialist in the history of special services.
