Philosophy of the case. A novel in the form of a dialogue.

A philosophical treatise on the role of chance in history, written in the form of a dialogue in six parts. First edition. Mark Aldanov (born Mark Aleksandrovich Landau; Aldanov - an anagram, which later became a real surname from a pseudonym; 1886-1957) - Russian prose writer, publicist, author of essays on historical topics, philosopher and chemist. He was nominated thirteen times for the Nobel Prize in Literature. Using the form of dialogue, Aldanov gives a sharp analysis of many of the main problems of culture, politics, and philosophy. In the perspective of brilliant historical analogies, the author illuminates many political events of yesterday and today in a new way. Of extraordinary interest is the question posed by Aldanov about the role of chance and regularity in the history of the relationship of such events as the October Revolution. The way out of the modern international military-political impasse, outlined by the author, deserves special attention.
