Nun's art space lies somewhere between William Gibson's cyberverse and William Burroughs' heroin trips. And Nun, a former punk guitarist, is fascinated by music. “I listen to Schubert, I play the banjo and I write cyberpunk books,” as he himself once said of his pastime.

"With a Needle on Vinyl" is a text built like a musical composition, eclectic but skillfully mixed. As stated at the very beginning: the main part of the book is written in the analog mode of fluid text; in some cases, a digital iambic was used.

Here there are their themes, their variations. Repetitions of fragments, like a soft remix - and so on until the end, until the denouement. This is a book for the voice - and the soul. This is music embodied in the word, and, like all music, it speaks of love.

This is a book about music and people who make music.

This book is ambiguous and non-linear. Both in content and style. Stylistically, Nun is truly an original writer. He has his own approach, musical. The language of the novel is permeated with musical rhythms and melodic flowing poetry - "the sound scraped off the vinyl" scratches the soul. DJ samples are the melody of blood. Love is a confused ghost, lost in the rhythm of the drums. And the only remix that matters is the soul remix.
