Wilhelm Reich (1897-1957) is one of the most complex and controversial figures in the history of psychology, an apostate and an adherent of Freudian psychoanalysis in one person. His book "Character Analysis", which describes in detail the psychotherapeutic technique of characteristic resistances he created, brought the author worldwide fame and opened a new era of psychoanalysis.
