In the book TIME IS A WINGED HORSE, the work of the famous Bashkir poet Mustai Karim is presented most fully. His early works date from the alarming forty-first year. In one of the poems, thinking about his path, the poet concludes that he was still lucky in life: he was lucky with his homeland, wonderful Bashkiria, which seems to him a green leaf on a birch, whose name is Russia; he was lucky with friends who entered and enter his house without knocking; lucky with the battles that ended in victory, and with injuries that turned out to be powerless to deprive the poet of his life before the deadline. And perhaps the greatest luck is that nature endowed him with a soul sensitive to other people's joys and sorrows, as to their own. That is why the reader is so excited by the poems and poems of M. Karim, full of sharp drama, love and tenderness for a person.
