Konstantin Vasilyevich Mochulsky (1892 - 1948) - Russian critic and literary critic of the first wave of emigration, professor at the St. Sergius Orthodox Theological Institute, one of the leaders of the Russian Student Christian Movement. In the last years of his life, he devoted himself to the study of Russian Symbolist poets and their lives. In 1914 he graduated from the Romano-Germanic department of St. Petersburg University. In 1919 he emigrated. He taught at Sofia University. In 1922 he moved to Paris and got a job at the Sorbonne, where until 1941 he taught a course in the history of Russian literature and thought. Collaborated in the publications "Russian Thought", "Link", "Modern Notes", "Latest News". In the mid-1930s, under the influence of the teachings of S. Bulgakov, he converted to Christianity, joined the brotherhood of St. Sofia. Together with his mother Maria, he headed the Orthodox Cause association
