The book is devoted to literary cinematography as one of the dominants of the idiostyle development of the 20th century. The linguistic perspective of the analysis allows us to identify its features in the works of classics and contemporaries. The definition of literary cinematography is given, its scenario component, rethinking of the cinematic metaphor of life in the modern Russian text is studied. It is intended for philologists, including undergraduate and graduate students, who are interested in the interaction of the arts, the influence of cinema on the organization of the Russian text.
