The book is dedicated to the outstanding St. Petersburg musician, pianist, teacher - Professor of the St. Petersburg (Leningrad) Conservatory VV Nielsen (1910-1998). In the context of the dramatic decades of the 20th century, the creative path of a great artist is highlighted. In the memoirs and articles of V. V. Nielsen's students, persons of the closest social circle, an attempt was made to describe the personality of the musician.
