Vladimir Zheleznikov's story "Scarecrow" was written a long time ago. But the feeling is that the author visited a regular school yesterday, and wrote a story about everything he saw. This is a book about childish cruelty, about friendship and betrayal, about how people can blindly follow the majority. Reading it, you understand that all this is true, all this is happening now. These are people who are not like others, but in most cases they are better and more spiritual than the rest.
