The book Five and Others, written by the Russian poet and novelist Mikhail Osipovich Tsetlin (1882–1945), includes a cycle of short stories dedicated to Russian composers who are members of the Mighty Handful community. The Commonwealth was formed in the middle of the 19th century, and got its name from the well-known music critic, the ideological inspirer of the circle, V.V. Stasov. In the book, he is given one of the central places. Abroad, the "Mighty Handful" was called the "Group of Five", which gave the name to this book. The publication will introduce readers to this great five. On the pages of the book are the brilliant names of leading figures of Russian music: M. P. Mussorgsky, M. A. Balakirev, N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov, A. P. Borodin, M. I. Glinka, A. S. Dargomyzhsky and others.< /p>
