The first edition of this book was published in Prague in 1923 and is a great bibliographic rarity. Second reprint edition in the old spelling. The author is a member of the State Duma, engineer Lev Viktorovich Polovtsov (1867-1936), one of the organizers of the Volunteer Army, head of the economic unit, participant in the First Kuban General Kornilov campaign, in this work he acts as a historian, epic, philosopher. His anti-German position, which manifests itself in the book from beginning to end, is supported by convincing arguments. The revolution, according to the author, was carried out not only with German money, but also with the participation of the German armed forces (the so-called `Latvians`). A very detailed, but also quite general description of the trip is given.
