Ivan Ivanovich Novgorod-Seversky (real name: Yan Plyashkevich; 1893-1969) - poet and prose writer of Russian emigration, second husband of Yulia Alexandrovna Kutyrina, niece of I.S. Shmelev. During the Civil War, he served in the Volunteer Army, was promoted to colonel by Wrangel. In exile since 1920. Considered one of the most talented writers of "Russian Paris". He wrote a lot: 31 books of poetry and 5 books of prose are mentioned by the writer himself.
