One of the first publications about the Russian-American sculptor Ernst Neizvestny (1925-2016), who left the USSR in 1976. Earlier in 1962, Ernst Neizvestny participated in the infamous exhibition in Moscow "30 Years of the Moscow Union of Artists", which he scolded in the most in dirty terms, Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev, who ordered "to ban everything and stop this disgrace." Khrushchev called the sculptures of the Unknown "degenerate art". After Khrushchev's death, at the request of the relatives of the former head of state, Ernst Neizvestny created a tombstone for him.
